C <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT AND URS CORPORATION <br /> The City and URS Corporation agree to amend and modify their professional services agreement <br /> dated 3 February 2007 (the"Agreement") as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, the URS Corporation and the City entered into an Agreement dated 3 February <br /> 2007 to perform design and permitting assistance for the No. 5 Line protection project within the <br /> former Drainage District No. 6 area; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Agreement expires on 30 June 2007 and further assistance in the design and <br /> permitting assistance is requested by the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires continued assistance from URS Corporation for such services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City and URS Corporation agree to amend the Agreement to: (a) extend the <br /> time for completion from 30 June 2007 to 31 December 2008, and <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the City of Everett and URS Corporation agree to amend and modify the <br /> Agreement as follows: <br /> A. Paragraph 3 of the Agreement is amended to read as follows: <br /> 3. Time of Beginning and Completion of Performance. This Agreement shall <br /> commence as of the date of execution of this Agreement and shall be completed by <br /> 31 December 2008. <br /> B.
