7 <br /> Intergovernmental Agreement No. F07-31103-069 <br /> Everett Police Department <br /> ATTACHMENT A <br /> Statement of Work <br /> October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008 <br /> The contractor shall provide and supervise adequate staff to accomplish the following activities during the <br /> contract period: <br /> Victim Services <br /> Personnel <br /> A. The Contractor shall provide funding for the Providence Everett Sexual Assault Center to <br /> employ an advocate specialist and intervention specialist to provide community-based <br /> advocacy services for victims of sexual assault, age 18 and older. Services provided can <br /> include,but are not limited to,information and referral,crisis intervention,medical <br /> advocacy, legal advocacy, intakes and assessments prior to entry into therapy services, <br /> assistance accessing Crime Victims Compensation benefits, and the development of <br /> individual safety and treatment plans. Services provided by the advocates shall meet the <br /> requirements set forth by Washington State RCW 70.125,and by the standards defined <br /> by the State of Washington Sexual Abuse/Assault Services Standards,Fiscal Year 2006. <br /> B. The Contractor shall provide funding for the Providence Everett Sexual Assault Center to <br /> employ an advocate supervisor to provide staff support and reporting for this contract. <br /> C. The Contractor shall provide funds to the Center for Battered Women to support a <br /> community-based legal advocate to provide services to female victims of domestic <br /> violence,sexual assault or stalking, age 18 and older from Snohomish County. Services <br /> provided can include,but are not limited to,advocacy and outreach to underserved <br /> communities and relationship building,information and referral, crisis intervention,. <br /> medical advocacy, legal advocacy,informing victims of their rights, development of <br /> individual safety plans,assistance accessing Crime Victims Compensation benefits, <br /> community education and awareness,and referrals to other community resources. <br /> Services provided by the Advocate shall meet the requirements set forth by Washington <br /> State RCW 70.123 and RCW 70.125,and by the standards defined by the State of <br /> Washington Sexual Abuse/Assault Services Standards,Fiscal Year 2006. <br /> Coordinated Community Response Team <br /> A. The Contractor and subcontractor shall participate in enhancing the Snohomish County <br /> Coordinated Community Response Team to increase the safety of victims of domestic <br /> violence, sexual assault, or stalking and hold offenders accountable. The Snohomish <br /> County Coordinated Community Response Team shall meet monthly,or at least <br /> quarterly,during the contract period with a focus on issues related to responding to adult <br /> victims of stalking,domestic violence,and/or sexual assault,including victims from <br /> marginalized communities. <br /> Page 16 of 18 <br /> 40 <br />
