r) <br />t <br />EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />CITY OF EVERETT WATER FILTRATION FACILTY <br />CONSULTANT SERVICES <br />Provide third party consultant services for the development and implementation of a new Water <br />Filtration Facility Operations and Maintenance Manual. The scope of work will include <br />incorporating reference material from various capital improvement projects and plant <br />improvements into one comprehensive document. The new Operation and Maintenance manual <br />will list the procedures required to operate the Water Filtration Plant in both normal and <br />emergency configurations. <br />The new Operations and Maintenance Manual will be incorporated into the Water Filter <br />Facility's existing electronic library as a ready reference for the operation of the City of Everett's <br />Water Filtration Facility. <br />Phase 1 of the project will include 100% completion of an overview and functional description <br />of the Water Filtration Facility as a whole and each process unit of the Water Filtration Facility. <br />Detailed descriptions of the process units of the Water Filtration Plant processes will be <br />completed in future phases. <br />Deliverable: Updated Operation and Maintenance Manual that will be incorporated within the <br />Water Filtration Facilities Electronic Library and one hard bound copy. <br />Task 1 — VERIFY REQUIREMENTS AND PLANT PROCESSES AND PROCEDURES. <br />Task will involve reviewing Washington State Department of Health Administrative Code <br />(WAC 246-290-415) for regulatory requirements pertaining to the operation of water filtration <br />facilities. Additional plant process information will be gathered from site visits and reference <br />documentation from past plant construction projects. (Five Percent or $2,750)) <br />TASK 2 — MANUAL OUTLINE DEVELOPMENT & ELECTRONIC LIBRARY <br />FORMAT CONFORMITY <br />Task will involve the development of an outline for the electronic operation and maintenance <br />manual. This will require building a draft outline of the new operation and maintenance manual <br />within the water filtration facilities electronic library and verifying conformity with existing <br />electronic library format and standards. (Ten Percent or $5,500) <br />TASK 3 - REVIEW AND COMPILE EXISTING INFORMATION <br />Task will involve the review and compiling of information from existing reference material <br />related to water filtration facility construction projects and installed equipment. This information <br />will be collected from reference material currently located at the water filtration facility and from <br />external sources.
