In 2005, the City directed CHS to curtail <br />design efforts on Sewer Replacement "F" Schedules "A" and `B" projects in order for additional planning to <br />be completed for the Bond Street Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Control Facilities. It is now possible to <br />resume design efforts on the Sewer Replacement "F" Schedule "A" project and it has been determined that <br />this project should undertake. selected improvements associated with the Bond Street CSO Facilities for <br />efficiency, cost and schedule benefits. The present authorized contract amount for design is $1,060,300 and is <br />supplemented by this amendment to add $67,127 for a total authorized contract amount of $1,127,427. <br />Construction of the Sewer Replacement "F" Schedule "A" project is anticipated to occur in 2008 and, <br />construction cost is approximately $3 million. <br />RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 4 to the Professional Services Agreement with CHS Engineers, <br />LLC for engineering services for Sewer System Replacement "F" project in the amount of $67,127 for a total <br />contract amount of $1,127,427. <br />5 <br />C Documents and Settings\SuC1ark\Desktop\11-21 Council\Swr F_CHS PSA Amend 4_Cncl Agenda Cover.DOC <br />
