9 EXHIBIT A-4 CITY OF EVERETT SEWER SYSTEM( REPLACEMENT "F" SCOPE REVISIONS FORK ORDER AUP 3188 SCOPE OF WORK Scope Revision Description: Engineering services shall be performed as described in Exhibit A-2 of Amendment 2 to the agreement between CHS Engineers. LLC and the City of Everett and as revised herein. The previously authorized budget associated with Amendment 2 had been prepared utilizing 2006 and earlier CHS labor rates. In order to update the budget funds to reflect CHS labor rates that will be in effect the work is actually performed (2007 through 2008) a multiplier of 6% has been applied to the remaining task balances, with the exception of Tasks 3, 4, and 11. Additions to the project budget are shown in Exhibits B-4 and C-4. Revised and additional survey and engineering for the Sewer System Replacement F project are described below: Schedule A: Revisions and modifications to the previous Schedule "A" design scope of work include the following: A. Increase the pipe diameter from 14 -inch to 36 -inch for the replacement combined sewer main located on the CSO site that generally follows the west and south property lines from CSMH 03 to CSMH 06. B. Delete the previous "Flow splitting" manholes CSMH 06 and 07 and design a new manhole (CSMH 06) per City/HDR direction that will accommodate existing flow and future connections to the proposed CSO facility and other mains. C. Design a new gravity storm drain pipe from the proposed CSO facility to an appropriate connection point for conveyance to PS07. Pipe diameter and other design details to be determined. D. Design a 24 -inch diameter pressure pipe from the proposed CSO facility to an existing valved connection point on the Port Gardner -Kimberly Clark Deep water Outfall at Terminal Ave. This pipe crosses the BNSF railroad property at Bond St_ Additions to the previous Schedule "A" design scope of work include the following: A_ Design for a new 30 -inch diameter combined sewer main from the northwest corner of the CSO site to the intersection of Wall, Kromer and Bond streets. This main will be designed for both gravity and pressurized conveyance conditions per City: HDR direction and will be a "dry line" capped at both ends. A majority of the base mapping and survey for this area will be provided by the CityiPerteet. CHS will provide limited supplemental survey mapping as needed for design. B. Design for a new 24 -inch diameter combined sewer main from the CSO facility to Lift Station 42. This main will be designed for both gravity and pressurized conveyance 55
