This Supplemental Agreement No. 3 to the Professional Services Agreement with URS amends the original scope of work by adding Exhibit A-3 (Scope of Work) and Exhibit B-3, which includes compensation for engineering design and construction support services for the protection of an additional section of the South End Interceptor as requested by the City. Council had previously approved $91,300 for design and construction support services, $2,000 for bid advertisement expenses and $384,606.90 for construction. This Supplemental Agreement No. 3 will increase the total compensation, including all services and expenses, by a total of $136,000. The total authorized expenditure for this account to date is $477,906.90. The new total including this amendment 3 will be $613,906.90 which is below the project budget of $1,500,000. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Supplemental Agreement No. 3 with URS, to provide engineering services and engineering support services during construction of the South End Interceptor Sta 186 — Sewer Protection project for an additional cost of $136,000.
