Assisted Housing Units in the city of Everett consist of the following: <br /> Type of Housing <br /> Number of Units <br /> EHA Public Housing 803 <br /> Section 8 Certificates & Vouchers 1024 <br /> Privately Developed; Publicly Subsidized <br /> Section 236 Developments 592 <br /> Section 8 Private and Nonprofit 277 <br /> Section 202 58 <br /> Washington State Housing - Tax Credit Projects 509 <br /> WA Housing Finance Commission <br /> Multifamily Bond Issue Projects 69 <br /> Total of All Assisted Housing 3248 <br /> New assisted housing development will be guided by the CHAS; <br /> local adequacy standards will be in conformance with policy <br /> stated therein. <br /> 8. Solid waste/recycling <br /> Recycling efforts are coordinated and guided through the "Comprehensive Solid Waste <br /> Management Plan" (February 1991, revised in 1992) which sets forth goals and actions <br /> for a five year period. The summary of implementation activities begins on page 12-7 <br /> and covers the following items: Waste Reduction, Recycling, Composting, Waste <br /> Collection, Resource Recovery, Transfer and Long Haul System, Landfilling, <br /> Enforcement and Administration and other wastes. The plan also sets forth an anticipated <br /> year of completion and estimated cost for each item. <br /> Section 13.. The City of Everett Growth Management Comprehensive Plan, as contained in <br /> Exhibit A of Ordinance #2021-94, Section entitled"Capital Facilities and Utilities Element" is <br /> hereby amended by the addition of the following text: <br /> Functional Capital Improvements Plans: The City periodically approves a capital <br /> improvements plans for water system improvements, sewer system improvements, storm <br /> drainage system improvements, park system improvements, and other city facility <br /> improvements. These planning efforts are based upon the priorities and policies of the <br /> Comprehensive Plan, and are to be automatically incorporated into the Capital Facilities <br /> Element as approved or amended by the City Council, as functional plans implementing <br /> the overall goals and policies of the comprehensive plan. <br /> 25 <br />
