• <br /> page 2 <br /> Wood Annexation <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: legal description <br /> That the property hereinafter described, is hereby annexed to the City of Everett: <br /> (WOOD ANNEXATION 4th Avenue S.W. at 90th Street S.W.) <br /> All that portion of Section 13, Township 28 North, Range 4 E.W.M. described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the most Southerly corner of Lot 12, Plat of Patricia Manor, Division No. 2, <br /> according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 22 of Plats, page 76, records of <br /> Snohomish County Washington; Thence Southeasterly along the Southwesterly line of <br /> said plat, to intersect the North line of the South 561.60 feet of Lot 10, Plat of Beverly <br /> Garden Tracts Division No. 1, according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 10 of <br /> Plats, page 1, records of Snohomish County, Washington (as measured along the West <br /> line thereof);Thence S 89°15'00" W a distance of 46.22 feet; Thence South parallel to <br /> the West line of said Lot 10, a distance of 140.20 feet; Thence S 89°15'00" W a distance <br /> of 310.26 feet to a point on the West line of said Lot 10, said point also being on the <br /> Easterly right-of-way margin of 4th Avenue S.W. (Emander Road), Thence North along <br /> said Easterly right-of-way margin to a point of intersection which bears S 89°15'00" W <br /> from the point of beginning; Thence N 89° 15' 00" E to the point of beginning. <br /> Section 2: Assumption of indebtedness <br /> Upon annexation of the property described in Section 1, said property shall become <br /> a part of the City of Everett, and shall be subject to all of its laws and ordinances <br /> then and thereafter in force. Upon annexation of the above-described property, all of <br /> said property shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate on the same basis as <br /> other property located within the city is assessed and taxed, to pay for any then <br /> outstanding indebtedness of the City contracted prior to or existing at the date of this <br /> annexation. In addition, the annexed area will remain responsible unto any other <br /> lawfully formed municipal corporation to which the property is obligated at the time of <br /> annexation subject to a specific lien. Further, the City may incur additional operating <br /> expenses in supplying water or sewage to persons who are located within the <br /> annexed area. Accordingly, utility rates for the area for which annexation is <br /> petitioned may vary from those rates of other areas within the city. <br />
