5 <br /> • Site improvements including driveway, fencing, access gate, equipment and electrical <br /> enclosures and site restoration similar to the existing 112th Street site. <br /> The City desires that the project be constructed in 2008, subject to the ability to obtain <br /> permits for construction. <br /> Scope of Work <br /> It is our understanding that the City will be responsible for the following major work items: <br /> • All permitting and environmental assessment/reporting. <br /> • Contractor procurement. <br /> • On-site inspection of construction work and overall construction management. <br /> The proposed scope of work for services to be performed by MSA is divided into the <br /> following major work tasks and described below: <br /> Task 1 —Project Management <br /> Task 2—Preliminary Design <br /> Task 3 —Final Design <br /> Task 4—Bidding and Construction Services <br /> Task 5—Unanticipated Services <br /> Task 1 -Project Management <br /> This task provides for management of the project through the completion of the project. <br /> Elements of this task include: <br /> • Correspondence and Coordination with City of Everett <br /> • Staff and Subconsultant Management <br /> • Invoices and Budget Oversight <br /> • Progress Meetings (two meetings anticipated) <br /> Task 2—Preliminary Design <br /> This task will include information gathering and review, surveying, site visits, and <br /> preliminary design meeting with City staff, which will provide recommendations for the final <br /> design task. Anticipated subtasks are outlined as follows: <br /> 2.1 Information Gathering & Review--Compile a list of data and information needed <br /> for the project and submit to the City Project Manager. Review information from the <br /> City and available from others relevant to the proposed work.
