5 • Site improvements including driveway, fencing, access gate, equipment and electrical enclosures and site restoration similar to the existing 112th Street site. The City desires that the project be constructed in 2008, subject to the ability to obtain permits for construction. Scope of Work It is our understanding that the City will be responsible for the following major work items: • All permitting and environmental assessment/reporting. • Contractor procurement. • On-site inspection of construction work and overall construction management. The proposed scope of work for services to be performed by MSA is divided into the following major work tasks and described below: Task 1 —Project Management Task 2—Preliminary Design Task 3 —Final Design Task 4—Bidding and Construction Services Task 5—Unanticipated Services Task 1 -Project Management This task provides for management of the project through the completion of the project. Elements of this task include: • Correspondence and Coordination with City of Everett • Staff and Subconsultant Management • Invoices and Budget Oversight • Progress Meetings (two meetings anticipated) Task 2—Preliminary Design This task will include information gathering and review, surveying, site visits, and preliminary design meeting with City staff, which will provide recommendations for the final design task. Anticipated subtasks are outlined as follows: 2.1 Information Gathering & Review--Compile a list of data and information needed for the project and submit to the City Project Manager. Review information from the City and available from others relevant to the proposed work.
