Task 5—Unanticipated Services This task will include additional unanticipated labor or expenses not specifically identified in the scope of work tasks defined above. Such work items will be implemented on a work order basis and will be undertaken only after written authorization from the City. Proposed Engineering Fees The following is a summary of the proposed engineering fee estimate. A detailed breakdown of estimated engineering fees by work task and labor classification is shown on Exhibit B. These proposed fees are based upon the proposed scope of work and basic assumptions, and the project schedule, all as outlined in this scope of work. The estimated reimbursable expenses for this project, including subconsultant fees, are shown on Exhibit C. The work will be billed at the firm's current standard Schedule of Charges in effect at the time the work is performed(2008 Schedule of Charges is attached as Exhibit D). The firm updates the Schedule of Charges annually on January 1. TASK FEE ESTIMATE 1 —Project Management $2,200 2—Preliminary Design $12,330 3 —Final Design $38,380 4—Bidding and Construction Services $14,760 5 —Unanticipated Services $5,000 TOTAL FEE ESTIMATE $72,670 Estimated Schedule The following project milestones for MSA's services described in this scope of work are estimated and are based on the City's desire to have the project constructed in 2008. Any permitting and review process with other agencies may require additional time, which is not addressed in the estimated schedule below.
