Hall Golf Course Meeting Room <br />The Everett Parks & Recreation Board of Park Commissioners met at Walter E. <br />Hall Golf Course Meeting Room on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 6:OOPM. <br />Chairperson Mary Jane Anderson called the meeting to order. <br />PARK COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Mary Jane Anderson, Des Skubi, <br />Kathryn Goforth, Dick Wendt, Shannon Affholter and Dianne Riter. <br />EXCUSED: Randy Ayers <br />COUNCIL LIAISON PRESENT: Brenda Stonecipher <br />PARK STAFF PRESENT: Paul Kaftanski, John Petersen, Hal Gausman and <br />Sue Stimson <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES—Des motioned and Shannon seconded to accept <br />the March 13, 2007 minutes. Motion passed. <br />APPEARANCE OF INTERESTED CITIZENS— Libbie Soden, 27 -91St Ave. SE, <br />Everett WA 98205, representing the Evergreen Arboretum Society. The <br />Arboretum held its annual meeting in March; 87 people attended. Members <br />reviewed their accomplishments from 2006 and their plans for 2007. Libbie <br />distributed a work party list and invited commissioners to participate. Des <br />expressed appreciation to Libbie for all the work and accomplishments <br />MEMBERS REPORT <br />Mary Jane—no report <br />Kathryn Goforth—no report <br />Dick Wendt—Viewridge pocket park sign is in disrepair. Spoke with a few <br />neighborhood residents and they would be willing to help towards its repair. <br />What did port say about Edgewater beach access? <br />Paul -not sure that topic came up. <br />Hal added that a recent newspaper article regarding Japanese Gulch, reported <br />that portion of road has been filled in. <br />
