EXHIBIT A - 4 <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />during pile driving operations. Services of a fish biologist are budgeted up to 4 hour per <br />days for 14 days for a total of 56 hours. <br />H. Geotechnical Field Assistance. Zipper Zeman & Associates, Inc. will provide the <br />following services: <br />1. Develop pile driving refusal criteria for the pile driving system selected by the <br />Construction Contractor. Develop pile driving criteria for up to two pile driving <br />hammers based on Construction Contractor's submitted data sheets. <br />2. Review shop drawings and other submittals as requested. A total of 28 hours are <br />budgeted for this task. <br />3. Assist in preparing BFI's as requested. A total of 28 hours are budgeted for this task. <br />4. Attend pre construction meeting. <br />5. Attend up to six weekly Construction Contractor meetings. <br />6. Monitor installation of four test piles (two at West end and two at East end of the <br />alignment). Two — Full day trips. Complete geotechnical analyses of test piles to <br />interpret the results. <br />7. Provide up to 24 full day trips to monitor the installation of a number of production <br />piles. Provide daily reports. <br />8. Interpret vibration and settlement monitoring data collected by the Construction <br />Contractor. A total of 16 hours are budgeted for this task. <br />9. Review and interpret the pile driving reports obtained by Contractor (MWH) for the <br />remainder of the piles not included during ZZA's field monitoring in Paragraph H.7. <br />Be available to respond to Contractor's (MWH) questions during the pile driving <br />operation. <br />10. Provide the City with a summary report of all of the production pile driving data and <br />analysis. <br />I. Corrosion Protection System Assistance. Northwest Corrosion Engineering will provide <br />the following services: <br />1. Perform on-site visual coating inspection and dry film coating thickness testing on <br />approximately, 8,000 lineal feet of 48 -inch pipeline and pipe pile support structures. <br />Testing will be conducted in up to 20 separate field trips. <br />2. Field verify electrical continuity bonding of all metallic system components including <br />pipeline expansion joints, pile bent support structure, and approximately 200 pipe <br />piles. <br />3.
