Project Schedule Assumptions. The work described herein in Task 15 has been based
on a total construction period of 589 working days and assumed construction starting
in May 2008 and completing in August 2010. See Exhibit C-4.
2. The proposed budget for the Contractor's (MWH) Construction Manager/Inspector is
based on the proposed 28 month overall construction schedule shown in Exhibit C-4.
The Construction Manger/Inspector will provide contract services for up to 589
working days (based on a typical 8- hours per day and 10 hours days for 15 months
during anticipated peak construction periods) for a total budget of 5,208 hours. The
above proposed budget hours are based on the Construction Contractor working five
(5) days per week. The scope of work described in Task 15 is limited to the budget
available based on the manhours described herein.
3. If the Contractor chooses to complete the work under an accelerated schedule, MWH
will provide the services of both a Construction Manager/Inspector and a Senior
Inspector. Under this scenario, it is assumed that the Construction Contractor's work
would be completed over a total 20 month duration from May 2008 through
December 2009. The Construction Manager/Inspector will provide contract services
for up to 407 working days (based on a typical 8 hr. shift per day) for a total of 3,256
hours. The Senior Inspector would be budgeted for up to 294 working days (based on
a typical 8 hr. shift per day) during the period of July 2008 through August 2009,
which is the period of time anticipated for the most intense work effort. This results
in a total of 2,352 hours budgeted for the Senior Inspector. The above described
budget hours are based on the Construction Contractor working five (5) days per
week. The budget for the above described two -person field staff can be provided (for
the durations described above) at a total project cost that does not exceed the budget
defined by the 28 month project schedule described in paragraph L2 above.
MWH Page 7 EVERETT PHASE 6
4/17/08 EXHIBIT A-4 SCOPE OF WORK
