• <br /> ... • <br /> 80-3 MOVED BUILDINGS. All electrical wires, equipment, or apparatus <br /> within, or on, or attached thereto, which are moved within or into the city shall <br /> comply with the provisions of this Code and all other applicable laws, codes and <br /> ordinances. <br /> 80-4 ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITY AND ASSISTANTS. The Building <br /> Official is hereby authorized and directed to enforce all the provisions of this <br /> Code. For such purpose he shall have the powers of a police officer. In <br /> accordance with procedure and with the approval of the chief appointing <br /> authority of the City, the Building Official may appoint such number of <br /> officers, inspectors and assistants and other employees as may be necessary to <br /> carry out the functions of this Code. <br /> 80-5 REPORTS AND RECORDS. The Building Official shall submit a <br /> report to the proper City Official not less than once a year, covering the work of <br /> the department during the preceding period. He shall incorporate in said report <br /> a summary of his recommendation as to desirable amendments to this Code. <br /> The Building Official shall keep a permanent, accurate account of all fees and <br /> other moneys collected and received under this Code, the names of the persons <br /> upon whose account the same were paid, the date and amount thereof, together <br /> with the location of the building or premises to which they relate. <br /> 80-6 RIGHT-OF-ENTRY. Whenever necessary to make an inspection to <br /> enforce any of the provisions of this Code, or whenever the Building Official or <br /> his authorized representative has reasonable cause to believe that there exists in <br /> any building or upon any premises any condition or code violation which makes <br /> such building or premises unsafe, dangerous or hazardous, the Building Official <br /> or his authorized representative may enter such building or premises at all <br /> reasonable times to inspect the same or to perform any duty imposed upon the <br /> Building Official by this Code, provided that if such building or premises be <br /> occupied, he shall first present proper credentials and request entry; and if such <br /> building or premises be unoccupied, he shall first make a reasonable effort to <br /> locate the owner or other persons having charge or control of the building or <br /> premises and request entry. If such entry is refused, the Building Official or his <br /> authorized representative shall have recourse to every remedy provided by law <br /> to secure entry. <br /> When the Building Official or his authorized representative shall have first <br /> obtained a proper inspection warrant or other remedy provided by law to secure <br /> entry, no owner or occupant or any other persons having charge, care or control <br /> of any building or premises shall fail or neglect, after proper request is made as <br /> herein provided, to promptly permit entry therein by the Building Official or his <br /> authorized representative for the purpose of inspection and examination pursuant <br /> to this Code. <br /> 80-7 STOP ORDERS. Whenever any work is being done contrary to the <br /> provisions of this Code, the Building Official may order the work stopped by <br /> 2 <br />
