Section 111.1 of the 1994 Edition of the Uniform Mechanical Code is hereby <br /> amended by the addition of the following: <br /> Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this Code <br /> shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and each such person shall be deemed <br /> guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or portion thereof during <br /> which any violation of any of the provisions of this Code is committed, <br /> continued or permitted, and upon conviction of any such violation, such person <br /> shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000 or by imprisonment for <br /> not more than ninety (90) days or both such fine and imprisonment. <br /> D. Table No. 1-A Mechanical Permit Fees is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Table 1-A <br /> Mechanical Permit Fees <br /> 1. For the issuance of each permit $ 22.00 <br /> 2. Residential and Multi-Family: <br /> For the purpose of mechanical fee calculations the definition of <br /> residential is new single family home, duplex, or individual dwellings <br /> within a new apartment building, condominium building, hotel, or motel <br /> which is individually heated and/or air conditioned. <br /> Conditioned floor space under 1,000 s.f. $ 30.00 <br /> Conditioned floor space under 2,000 s.f. $ 60.00 <br /> Conditioned floor space 2,000 s.f. or more $ 80.00 <br /> 3. Alteration and Commercial: <br /> The permit fee for the installation, replacement, relocation or repair of <br /> each non-residential or multi-family heating, ventilation or air- <br /> conditioning unit or system, work performed on existing residential or <br /> multi-family systems or phased work on new systems is calculated <br /> according to the value of the work to be done as follows: <br /> $500 or less $ 15.00 <br /> $501 to $1,000 $ 30.00 <br /> Each additional $1,000 or fraction thereof <br /> over the first $1,000 $ 10.00 <br /> 3 <br />
