• Section 8: Reimbursement. The boards identified in Section 3 of this ordinance are duly created and approved for the purpose of reimbursement of expenses when incurred in the performance of the board's duties pursuant to Chapter 2.76 EMC. Section 9: Supersede - Repealer. In the event of a conflict between the provisions of this ordinance and any other City ordinance, the provisions of this ordinance shall control. The following are hereby repealed: Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1555-89 (EMC 2.94.020-Human Needs Advisory Committee); and Section 3 of Ordinance No. 380-75 (EMC 2.28.030- Transportation Advisory Committee). Section 10: Liability. This ordinance provides for and promotes the health, safety, and welfare of the general public, and does not create or designate any particular class or group of persons who will or should be especially protected or benefited by the terms of this ordinance. Nothing contained in this ordinance is intended to be nor shall be construed to create or form the basis for any liability on the part of the City, its officers, employees or agents by reason of any action or inaction on the part of the City related in any manner to the enforcement or the implementation of this ordinance by its officers, employees or agents. Section 11: Severability.
