IV. NON DISCRIMINATION <br /> The following provisions are added to provisions contained in the Basic <br /> Agreement between the Contractor and Snohomish County: <br /> A. The Contractor shall comply with the requirements of the Americans With <br /> Disabilities Act (PL 101-336). <br /> B. The Contractor and any subcontracting party shall comply with the state <br /> regulations for barrier-free facilities, as designated in RCW 19.27.031. The <br /> Contractor and subcontractors shall provide barrier-free access to and <br /> egress procedures from facilities, meeting places, and structures that will <br /> enable the use of all program services for the disabled community. <br /> V. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES <br /> A. The Contractor must establish a written plan that describes procedures to be <br /> followed in the event a client becomes ill or is injured while at the Contractor's <br /> office or if staff is in the client's home. The plan must be thoroughly <br /> explained to staff and volunteers. <br /> B. Contractor will have a plan for serving currently authorized clients during <br /> periods when normal services may be disrupted. Disruption to normal <br /> services may include earthquakes, floods, snowstorms, and other natural <br /> disasters. Particular attention should be made for those clients who are most <br /> at risk. <br /> • 1. When services are delivered at the Contractor's workplace the plan will <br /> include: contact information for high risk clients; a list of emergency <br /> services; and stores of emergency provisions. <br /> 2. When services are delivered "off site" the plan will include contact <br /> information for high risk clients. <br /> VI.
