2. The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Cost will be formatted to reflect the same bid items 1 2 <br /> presented in the bid schedule of the Contract Documents <br /> City Responsibilities <br /> 1. Provide recent bid tabulations for similar projects, in particular the Phase 6 and Phase <br /> 8A projects. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. None. <br /> Deliverables <br /> 1. Class 3 (per AACE) Engineer's Opinion of Probable Cost in Predesign Report. <br /> 2_ Class 2 (per AACE) Engineer's Opinion of Probably Cost with the 90 percent design <br /> submittal. <br /> 3. Refined Class 2 (per AACE) Engineer's Opinion of Probably Cost with the bid-ready <br /> submittal. <br /> 7.0 Task 700 — Bid Services <br /> 7.1 Subtask 701 — Bidding Assistance <br /> Purpose <br /> Provide assistance to the City throughout the bidding process. <br /> Consultant Services <br /> 1. Receive and respond to bidder's questions (through the City). <br /> 2. Prepare addenda, if necessary, to clarify or correct contract documents. A PDF file of <br /> addenda will be provided to the City for posting and/or mailing/FAXing to bidders. <br /> 3. Attend a pre-bid meeting for the project. <br /> 4. Attend the bid-opening. <br /> 5. Work with City staff to review the bids received, check selected references as directed <br /> by the City and assist the City regarding the decision/recommendation to award the <br /> contract. <br /> 6. Prepare the conformance (for construction) drawings and specifications set. <br /> City Responsibilities <br /> 1. Prepare and advertise the contract for bid. <br /> 2.
