6 <br /> EXHIBIT A-2 - Scope of Work <br /> For Design of <br /> Sewer System Capacity Improvements and Pipeline Replacement "J" <br /> City of Everett Work Order#UP3270 <br /> General Project Description: <br /> URS is currently performing planning, design, and construction support services <br /> for sewer system capacity improvements for the City of Everett(City) under <br /> Work Order#UP 3270. This amendment is for additional planning, design and <br /> construction support services for the replacement of existing combined sanitary <br /> sewer pipelines and manholes located in central Everett, WA and consisting of <br /> approximately 2,890 linear feet of pipelines. This Scope of Work amendment <br /> addresses only the work associated with the pipeline replacement_ Attachments 1 <br /> and 2 contain a Site Location Map and Plan Map, respectively. <br /> The project is located in central Everett in the following locations: <br /> • Approximately 1,460 feet of sewer replacement in the alley between Hoyt <br /> Ave and Rucker Ave, between 43`d St and 40th St(manhole H4 to manhole <br /> Y18). <br /> • Approximately 470 feet of sewer replacement in the alley between Hoyt <br /> Ave and Rucker Ave, between 39th St and 38'h St(manhole S2 to manhole <br /> Z3). <br /> • Approximately 960 feet of sewer replacement on Wetmore Ave between <br /> 40' St and 38th St(manhole S5 to manhole Z10). <br /> It is intended that the sewer replacements will be bid with the sewer capacity <br /> improvements as a single construction contract. <br /> Schedule: <br /> In accordance with direction from the City, the Sewer System Capacity <br /> Improvements and Pipeline Replacement"J"project is planned to be constructed <br /> in 2009. The City desires to initiate advertisement for construction bids for this <br /> project around April 2009.
