3 CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br /> CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> SEWER SYSTEM REPLACEMENT 'F' PROJECT, <br /> SCHEDULE A <br /> W.O. #UP 3300-1 <br /> NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the City Clerk at the City Clerk's <br /> Office, Is' Floor Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, Washington 98201, until 2:00 p.m., on <br /> Tuesday, July 22, 2008 for the construction of approximately 2,400 linear feet of combined sewer <br /> pipe, with several auger borings, described more completely in the specifications and contract <br /> documents, entitled "City of Everett, Washington, Contract Documents and Specifications for <br /> "SEWER SYSTEM REPLACEMENT 'F' PROJECT, SCHEDULE A, W.O. #UP3300-1" and <br /> will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud. The engineer's estimate is $ 3,200,000. <br /> Plans, specifications, addenda, and plan holders list for this project may be viewed on line at <br /> http://www.everettwa.orgibidscontracts/bids.asp <br /> Plan sets may also be purchased for reproduction costs at Bill's Blueprints (425-259-0859) at 2920 <br /> Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. <br /> For technical questions regarding this project, contact David Voigt, P.E., Project Manager, City of <br /> Everett, at 425-257-8983. <br /> Bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid meeting on Monday July 14 at 10 am at the project site in <br /> the vicinity of Station 121+50 (Bond St at the BNSFRR bridge). At approximately 10:30 am the <br /> meeting will relocate to inside the Port of Everett facility to review that portion of the project site. <br /> Attendees must present picture ID (driver's license) for access into the Port of Everett facility. At <br /> approximately 11 am the meeting will relocate to Everett's Water Reservoir #3 site to allow bidders to <br /> inspect HDPE pipe to be used for the project. Contact Dave Voigt at the number above for questions <br /> or more information. <br /> All proposals must be made upon the regular forms provided in the Proposal Section of the contract <br /> documents and must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than 5% of <br /> the bidder's total bid amount. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or informalities. No <br /> bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening thereof.
