9 <br /> Scope of Services for Hough Beck&Baird,Inc. <br /> City of Everett <br /> 41st Street/Broadway Arterial Project <br /> April 22,2008 <br /> Construction Assistance <br /> Hough Beck and Baird (HBB)will provide the following services: <br /> 1. Construction Assistance <br /> a. Review of technical submittals for shop drawings,product cutsheets and material <br /> certifications. <br /> b. Review and respond to Contractor Request for Information(RFI). <br /> c. Assist the City in evaluation of Owner and Contractor proposed changes or <br /> substitutions during construction. <br /> d. Provide three(3)site visits during construction to determine if the construction is <br /> proceeding in general conformance with the design documents.All site visits will <br /> be recorded with a field report prepared by HBB. <br /> Assumptions: <br /> a. HBB will provide assistance to the city during construction with regards to <br /> planting and irrigation.This proposal does not include day to day construction <br /> administration. <br /> b.
