., <br /> .1. <br /> The Contractor and the City's Biosolids Specialist will mutually agree upon a certified <br /> scale for use during the extent of this project. <br /> Tare and gross weights for each truck will be established or verified at a certified truck <br /> scale and a volume and/or net weight of biosolids per load established for each truck used <br /> in this project. The Contractor shall provide to the City, on a monthly basis,a receipt of <br /> the total volume or net weight of biosolids hauled. The monthly receipt shall include <br /> truck identification number, date of haul and approximate volume or net weight per truck. <br /> The Contractor is responsible for contacting the Snohomish County Public Works <br /> Department or other applicable agency regarding any haul routes to verify constraints or <br /> restrictions that might apply and complying with all applicable regulations. <br /> The Contractor is responsible for any damage to any WPCF equipment or appurtenance <br /> caused by the Contractor's activities and shall schedule and complete repairs as soon as <br /> possible, at the Contractor's expense. The Contractor shall submit a repair schedule to <br /> the Biosolids Specialist within 72 hours from the time damage occurred or is initially <br /> noted by either the Contractor or City personnel. Any repair work must be accomplished <br /> with parts, materials and labor approved by the Biosolids Specialist. Upon completion of <br /> any necessary repairs,the Contractor shall submit a written statement verifying that the <br /> repair work has been completed according to the approved repair schedule. If the repair <br /> work is not acceptable, the Biosolids Specialist may have the repair work performed by <br /> City crews or other private entity. All costs for this repair work shall be the <br /> responsibility of the Contractor. <br /> The Contractor is required to coordinate all their activities with the City's Biosolids <br /> Specialists or other WPCF staff as designated by the Biosolids Specialist. The City may <br /> have other construction projects in progress at the WPCF during the duration of this <br /> biosolids haul project and it is the Contractor's responsibility to assure that adequate <br /> notice is given to the City's Biosolids Specialist regarding equipment or materials that <br /> may need to be relocated in order to perform the activities described in this Scope of <br /> Work. <br />
