EXHIBIT A-2 <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> ) <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> 5 LINE REPLACEMENT AT PILCHUCK RIVER <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The Professional Services Agreement (PSA) between the City of Everett (City) and URS <br /> Corporation (URS), dated August 7, 2006, was prepared for design of the Pilchuck River <br /> Crossing pipeline replacement by Horizontal Directional Drilling(HDD). Amendment 1 was <br /> approved in December 2007 to include design of an overhead structure to replace the river <br /> crossing; the 60% design documents were prepared and submitted in May 2008. Amendment 2 <br /> was requested by the City to evaluate and design an open cut replacement instead of the <br /> overhead structure. Similar work elements to the original and amended design will be needed to <br /> complete the construction documents and permitting for an open cut replacement. Therefore, the <br /> same work items will be used for this amendment, as described below. <br /> PROJECT ORGANIZATION <br /> The URS Seattle office will complete the work described herein. Key staff will include: <br /> • Cecil Urlich, P.E. — Professional in charge and technical review <br /> • Carla Talich, P.E.— Project manager, hydraulics and permit support <br /> • Becca Loveday, E.I.T. —Assistant project manager and geotechnical engineer <br /> • Anne MacDonald - Geomorphology <br /> • Martin McCabe, PhD, PE—Excavation and shoring plans <br /> • John Gillespie, P.E. —Pipeline design engineer <br /> • Rob Nielsen, PhD.—Fisheries biologist <br /> • Jeff Walker, P.W.S. and Bill Kidder—Permit support and wetland investigations <br /> • Ted Muench—AutoCAD drawings <br /> • Mark DuLaney—Graphics. <br /> The following tasks are currently defined in the August 7, 2006 agreement.
