• Section 7: . A. In calculating reconnections, credit for both water and sewer connection charges shall be given for the historical water consumption of the previous occupancy where a developer is changing the land use or constructing new facilities on a site previously connected to the water and/or the sewer system. B. In the event an applicant has paid water charges but was not previously connected to the sewer system, said applicant shall pay the sewer connection charge only, subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 1164-85. Section 8: Ordinance No. 1171-85 (EMC 14.08.135) is hereby repealed. Section 9: This ordinance shall become effective 90 days following the City Council approval. The fee schedule set forth in Section 1 (B) of this ordinance shall apply to all completed building permit applications filed with the City's Public Works Department within one hundred eighty (180) days following the effective date of this ordinance. The fee schedule set forth in Section 1 (A) of this ordinance shall apply to all completed building permit applications filed thereafter. Section 10:The fee schedule in effect at the time a completed building permit application is filed with the City's Public Works Department shall apply to the fee assessed for connection charges. / FA i SAO • ARD D.
