4 4V-A EVERETT ORDINANCE NO. 1984-93 AN ORDINANCE amending the City' s subdivision regulations concerning subdivision exemptions and fire hydrants, Sections 1 (E) and 5 (C) (12) of Ordinance No. 1119-85 and Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1327-87 (EMC 18 . 04 . 050 (B) and EMC 18 . 24 . 150) . THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: SECTION 1: Section 1 (E) of Ordinance No. 1119-85 as amended by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1327-87 (EMC 18 . 04 . 050 (B) ) which reads as follows: E. Applicability_ 1. Divisions of Land-Compliance with State Law and this Ordinance: Every division or redivision of land into lots, tracts, parcels, sites or divisions for the purpose of sale, lease or transfer of ownership shall proceed in compliance with the provisions of State law and this Ordinance. All contiguous parcels of land, regardless of date of acquisition or location in different lots, tracts, parcels, tax lots or separate government lots, that are to be subdivided or short subdivided shall constitute a single subdivision or short subdivision action. Multiple applications or applications and/or exemptions shall not be utilized as a substitute for comprehensive subdividing or short subdividing in accordance with the requirements of this Ordinance. 2 . Exemptions: A. The provisions of this Ordinance as they relate to subdivisions shall not apply to: (1) Cemeteries and other burial plots while used for that purpose;
