GLOSSARY <br /> Public Access--Waterfront public access required to all shorelines of the State, for all non water <br /> dependent development. State Shoreline Management Act 1972. <br /> Non-Motorized--Transportation related term for design and development of transportation <br /> systems not vehicular related, designed to carry pedestrian and/or bicycle traffic. <br /> IAC--State Inter Agency Committee for Outdoor Recreation, the State trail funding source for <br /> recreational trails. <br /> Recreational Trails--Trails designed and developed without the use of Federal Highway Funds <br /> or State Gas Tax and Transportation Funds. <br /> ISTEA--Intermodel Surface Transportation Enhancement Act 1994, which can provide <br /> transportation funding of non-motorized transportation. <br /> ADA--Americans With Disabilities Act.
