Hod
H
C H
at the westbound off -ramp intersection in the AM peak hour was
projected to be at an "F" in 1995, without this development. These are
unacceptable conditions. AM and PM peak hour impacts to the LOS at
this interchange should be addressed.
Since the projected LOS at this interchange will deteriorate with this
proposed development and major capacity improvements to SR-526 and its
ramp intersections may not be feasible, the Department suggests that
providing TSM measures such as HOV (high occupancy vehicle) queue
jumps or bypasses, and transit subsidies or carpool priority parking
be considered. We recommend the developer agree to nitigate his
impacts, on a proportionate share basis, for improvements to the SR-
526/20th Avenue West interchange.
The traffic analysis did not analyze the development's impacts to SR-
99 because the trip generation diagram did not cover a large enough
area. Since SR-99 is a major north/south arterial the Department
expects that there will be daily trips generated by the development on
this highway. We recommend the developer prepare an analysis to
determine if the development will have 10 or more AM peak hour trips
traveling through a SR-99 intersection. We will need this analysis to
complete our review.
Thank you for the opportunity to continent on this proposal.
