Housdon <br />Public %orks Director <br />City of Everett <br />3200 Cedar Street <br />Everett, WA 98201 <br />Dear Mr. Housdon: <br />Subject: Employee Activity Center Wetland Compensation Plan <br />I am writing to confirm to you that The Boeing Company <br />intends to: <br />(a) post a construction performance bond in the amount <br />of $155,000 that the proposed and approved wetland <br />compensation design engineering documents as <br />tea"! <br />prepared by Dames and Moore and transmitted to the <br />City of Everett on October 15, 1990 shall be <br />constructed as indicated therein; <br />Inv <br />(b) post a maintenance bond in the amount of $15.000 <br />that the Monitoring Plan as outlined under <br />paragraph 1.1.4 of the Dames and Moore Mitigation <br />Plan dated October 12, 1990 will be followed to <br />ensure a sufficient survival or colonization by <br />wetland species to achieve 90% cover in the <br />wetlands in five years time; and <br />LJ l <br />(c) guarantee that the wetlands will remain a part of <br />the "Open Space" as described in the Boeing Everett <br />Master Plan - P.1 and that there will be no picnic <br />areas, archery trails or other similar recreational <br />activity areas built within 100 feet of the <br />wetlands in perpetuity. <br />We look forward to working with <br />of obtaining the full building <br />and Wetland Compensation Plan. <br />Sincerely, <br />L. ko ski <br />you to finalize these matters <br />permit for the Activity Center <br />
