Housdon Public Works Director City of Everett 3200 Cedar Street Everett, WA 98201 Dear Mr. Housdon: BOA//VG Subject: Employee Activity Center MDNS Earth Quantity Clarification I am writing to report that the quantities of earth to be moved on -site and hauled off -site for the construction work to be permitted at this time has changed from the 5000 cubic yards of material that we reported in the SEPA Environmental Checklist prepared Augus'r 23, 1989. For your informatioc., the existing construction contract excludes the baseball fields which account for the greatest majority of the earthwork. We soon plan to add two of the fields to the work to be constructed. We estimate that the existing work under application will ork on -site, haveally nced torbewWith hauled off -site - We have estimated that to field all four ballfields will require an additional 2000 cubic yards of duff to be hauled off -site, plus about 6,500 cubic yards of fill material to be removed from the ballfield area and relocated to our main site at locations as permitted. We plan to allow the contractor on option to move this material along a haul road as indicated on the attached sketches. We understand that this road is approved under the MDNS Sepa #157-89 as under the "limited use access road" which we delineated in our application.
