Concrctc Nor'west firc flo�v work-around Pagc 2 of 2 <br /> Lady and Gentlemen, <br /> Klaus and I brainstormed a reasonable, feasible and hopefully suitable solution to providing fire suppression <br /> water to the Concrete Nor'west site from the Cedar Grove Composting fire suppression pump and hydrant <br /> system until the new 12" main is installed along SR-529. <br /> 1. Concrete Nor'west shall provide adequate 5" high-pressure supply hose to run from Cedar Grove's <br /> eastern-most hydrant eastward along the n�rth side of the access road to a point across from the proposed <br /> batch plant. It will terminate attached tn an Akron �lanifold having a 5" Stortz outlet and 2X2.5" outlets. <br /> 2. A very high-visibility sign would be piaced next to ihe m�nifold indicating its location to the fire department. <br /> 3. The fne will be maintained under pressure and the Cedar Grove pumping system vrill automatically <br /> activate upon pressure drop at the marifold indicating usage. <br /> 4. Requirements: <br /> -Several hundred feet of 5"supply hose rated at 300 psi, with 5" Stortz fttings on the ends. Usually I <br /> comes in 100' Iengths.
