Public <br /> Works Department approval of thesF drawings is required prior to any <br /> permits being issued. <br /> 2. Any grading/fill on this site shall Ue done so as to no[ impact the <br /> surrounding properties. <br /> � The deslgn and installation of any fuel tanks and/or fuel transfer <br /> areas assoc �ted with the service bui.lding must meet all applicable <br /> City standards. <br /> � 4. The fiber-optic route between 36th Street and the Snohomish River <br /> � Crossing parallel.s existing sewer interceptors. Adequate setback from <br /> the interceptors and as-builts caill be required. <br /> 5. Upon completion of installation of utility systems or of any <br /> maintenance project ��'�ich disrupts the environment, the disturbed area <br /> shall be regraded to compatibility with the natural terrain and <br /> replanted (where appr.opriate) to prevent erosion and provide an <br /> attractive, harmoaious vegetation cover. Maintenance care for newly <br /> planted vegetation shall be provided until it is establ_ished. <br /> - When the right-o£�way is within Category III and IV wetland areas, the <br /> following miti&ations will be required: <br /> a. Return to Existing Grade. Disturbed wetl �nd areas shall be <br /> returned to existing contours and grade. No fill shall be deposited <br /> within the wetland. <br /> b. Enhancement. Disturbed areas shall be mitigated by enhancing a <br /> larger area within the wetland. Enhancement ratios shall be 1.25:1 for <br /> emergent vegetation and 1.5:1 for scrub/shrub. Enhancement shall <br /> consist of removal of invasive species such as reed canary grass and <br /> purple loosestrife, and ��:Lanting with appropriate native wetland <br /> species. To increase habitat value, disturbed Class : `T wetland areas <br /> shall be plante3 with scrub/shrut spaciz�, inrluding ai�lows, dogwood, <br /> salmonberry, elderberry, Douglas spirea. To the maximum extent <br /> feasible, cuttings for the enhanr,ement plantings shall be taken from <br /> adjacent wetland plants. <br /> An estimation of the awount of wetland to be dieturbed aa3 area to be . <br /> enhanced and a planting list and planting schematic for each area mustl <br /> be included in the final permit submittal.,;" <br />
