Although the notes on the Dempster plans refer to the Southerri <br /> Building Code, uur contract �vith them requires compliance �vitl <br /> the Llniform Building C�de, Apparently, they failed to correct <br /> the notes on their drawings accordingly. The S. T. F'., plans, <br /> which adapt the Dempster plans to the Everett site, do conform <br /> with the Uniforin Building Code, 1973 Edition. <br /> -�. The �valls �vill be water-proofed and under drains will be iristallecl <br /> for the wet conditions at ihe site. <br /> 5. The plans prepared by S. T. R. require 3, 000 psi concrete, while <br /> the Dempster plans call for 4, 000 psi concrete. As wE discussed, <br /> we will be using State Class AX concrete (4, 000 psi) at the si[e, <br /> 6. Tlie S. T. R, plans adapted the Dempster plans to the site's soil <br /> conditicns. In constructing the pile foundation, a 4, OUO psf soil <br /> bearing value is no longer required. <br />� - <br />
