'fable 6-2 <br />Mechanical <br />Although the mechanical system is a separate submittal and review, the following items shcald be <br />addressed for this permit. <br />1. If the water heaters have nonrigid water connections and are over 4' in height, they should be <br />shown anchored or strapped to resist earthquake motion. Section 304.4, UMC <br />2 Combustion air supply should be provided to the gas -fired furnace and water heaters. The method <br />of providing and amount of air should be shown on the plans. Section 703.4 & 706, UMC <br />Domestic clothes dryers should be exhausted to the outside. If the combined horizontal and <br />vertical length of 14' is exceeded, high output dryers should be specified. Section 504.3, UMC <br />STRUCTURAL <br />The structural portion of this submittal is currently under review.
