September 3, 1998
Everett City Council
Dear Council Members:
19 CO n7
J '
.n'''
'J
SEP - 81998
CITY OF EVERETT
On behalf of the many residents of our Port Gardner Panning Dept.
neighborhood, we wish to invite you to attend the Port Gardner
Neighborhood Association meeting on September 14, 1998 at
the Everett Alternatives High School cafeteria. Many of our residents
have lived here for 40, 50 and 60 years. We believe that you
take to heart the issues that affect us on day to day basis and
that determine the essential quality of our lives. It is far more
difficult to recover a neighborhood than it is to preserve it.
Surely you agree that urban single family residential
neighborhoods with character and history are intricate, finely
