MEMO <br />TO: <br />Bob Landles <br />FROM: <br />Dave Tyler <br />DATE: <br />September 8, 1998 <br />SUBJECT: <br />Shanon Heights 96-unit apartment complex <br />37th and Grand Ave. <br />THE FOLLOWING IS A CHRONOLOGY FOR 37th/GRAND 96-UNLIT APARTMENT <br />COMPLEX (SEPA #36-96) <br />June 13,1996 - SEPA Application submitted to Planning Dept. for 88 unit apartment project. <br />August 26, 1996 - Revised SEPA application submitted for a I00-unit project with a new site <br />plan and building layout. <br />September 3, 1996 - `Request for Project Review" form sent to Office of Neighborhoods and <br />Port Gardner Neighborhood chairpersons. Note: no written comments were received from either <br />entity. <br />October 30, 1996 - Notice of Application and Proposed MDNS mailed to adjacent property <br />owners, SEPA Register, and Port Gardner Neighborhood chairpersons. Notice signs also were <br />posted on all street frontages around the site perimeter. <br />November 1, 1996 - Pul;lic Notice was mailed to area property owners of a public meeting for a <br />proposed street vacation in conjunction with this project. The request for a street vacation was <br />withdrawn in December. <br />January 6, 1997 - Final MDNS mailed to Port Gardner Neighborhood Chairpersons, people who <br />commented on Proposed MDNS (9 parties). <br />January 9, 1997 - Addendum to MDNS mailed to Port Gardner Neighborhood and people who <br />commented on Proposed MDNS. <br />In addition to the above, I have kept in regular contact with Margaret Wilson, president of the <br />Rucker Village Condo Association. Rucker Village is immediately adjacent to the site and is the <br />most directly affected property in the vicinity. <br />
