Installation of thP W6X25 <br /> beams began today. Beams were 20 foot in length and driven with a 2000 pound hydraulic <br /> hammer to the design embedment. Seven of the W6X25 beams were insialled today. <br /> Contractor had established string line and control for the wall alignment. Sands are primarily <br /> exposed along the grade in front of the wall and along the descending slope. Discussed use of <br /> geofoam backfill for the completed wall, combined with 5/8ths pea gravel infill for drainage.
