Continuous handrails should be shown on the drawings on one side of the new interior stair, <br /> per IBC section 1009.12, exception 2. The handrail should be shown to extend from the top <br /> riser to the bottom riser, per IBC section 1012.6, exception 1. <br /> 3. The interior stair handrail height should be shown un the drawings at a height of between <br /> 34 and 38 inches, per IBC section 1012.2. <br /> 4. The protile of the interior stair handrail should be shown on the drawings to meet the <br /> graspability of Type I handrails, per IBC section 1012.3.1. <br /> 5.
