Figure 3: Plant species found on/near the site and their WIS raeo.. �S� r�tiie �• Dm.� �ene� <br />Soils <br />The Soil Survey of Snohomish County Area mapped the site as Alderwood-Everett gravelly loam, 24- <br />70% slopes, Everett gravelly sandy loam, 8-15% slopes and Mukilteo muck. Alderwood and Everett <br />soils are listed as non-hydric soil, while Mukilteo muck is listed as hydric within Snohemish County. <br />Alderwood s�raveliv sandv loam <br />Aldervvood graNelly sandy loam describes the majority of the upland soii series on the site. This <br />moderately well drained soil is on till plains. It is moderately deep over a hardpan. The soil formed in <br />glacial till. Typically , the surface layer is very dark grayish brov.�n (10YR 3/2) gravelly sandy loam <br />about 7 inches deep. The upper part of the of the sub soil is dark yellowish hrown (10YR 4/4) and <br />dark brown (10YR 4/3) very gravelly sandy loam to 30 inches. The lower part is olive brown (2.5Y <br />4/4) very gravelly sandy loam about 5 inches thick. A weakiy cemented hardpan ranges from 20 to <br />40 inches. Included in this unit are small areas of soils that have a stony or bouldery surface layer <br />8 <br />II <br />
