__ .._...:_ --- -
Mr, Fuller represented himself and made the statement that because of an
error in figuring the square footage of the buildings, only forty-five
„ (45) parking spaces were required rather than sixty-eight (68) . Mr.
Jamie Johnson, the Buildiag Official, verified this amount. Mr. Fuller
also made the statement that there was other off-street parking available
to the r.ear of his business and that he was allowed to utilize the parking
spaces in that areao However, the use of this parking has been by a verbal
, agreement.
Dtr, Ted Dahl, who owns the property to the southwest of 2902 Hewitt, was
against the granting of the variance for the following reasons:
1. That he hopes to construct a future parking lot and did not riish
the customers of 2902 to use his lot.
2, That he was required to do some paving and landscapinq and felc
Mr. Fuller :;hould do the same.
3. That he had to buy additional property to provide the parking ar.d
felt that Mr. Fuller shoulc'. also do the same.
Hfter visually viewing the subject property and considering all the facts
and testimony, it was moved by Mr. Russell, seconded y i. Hlack, and
unanimously carried, to grant the dariance as the requesc meets the require-
ments of Section 19.70,060 of the Everett t•funicipal Code, which statess
1. That such variance is necessary for the preseivation and
enjoyment of a st:bstanti3l property right of the appellant
possesse9 by the owners of other properties in the same .
vicinity or zone.
2. That the authorization of such variance will not be detrimental
. . to the public welfare or injuri.ous to property in the vicinity
or zone in which the property is located.
3. That the granting of the var.iance will t;ot adversely affect the
comprehensive general plan.
On motion, the meeting adjouzned at 9:45 p.m.
;
 Jamie G.
