Wayne Wentz City Traffic Engineer Everett Department of Public Works 3200 Cedaz Street L-verett, Washington 98201 Re: Traf6c Impact Study for the Proposed Northshore Christian Church and Academ,y Perteet Engineering Project No. 98T08-01 D:ar Mr. Wentz: This letter summarizes the traffic impact analysis conducted for the proposed Northshore �hris;ian Church (NCC) and Academy (NCA) development in Everett, Washington. The development project site is located on the north end of 23rd Avenue West just north of Merrill Creek Parkway. Figure 1 shows the project site viciniry. Access to the site will be provided by a constructing an extension of 23rd Ayenue West north to the project site. A single proposed driveway at the end of the 23rd Avenue West extension will serve the Church and Academy parking area. Figure 2 shows the proposed site access and circulation plan. Project Description 7he Northshore Christian Church (NCC) facility preposes to develop an I1,000 square foot ��•orship area for the congregation services as a part of the Church and Academy development. Sen�ices are currently held on Saturday evenings from 6:IS to 730 p.m. and on Sunday mornings beginning at S:IS a.m. and ending at 12:00 p.m. Future worship schedules are expected to remain the same as existing at this time. 7'he Northshore Christian Academy (NCA) currently enrolls 199 students at their existing facility. The proposed p:oject will allow for a planned student increase of up to 377 students by the 1'ear 2000-2001 academic year. Of the 377 students projected, approximately I 12 swdents are allocated to the Preschool (40), Prekinder (32), and Kindergarten (4')) grade levels. The �emainins 265 swdents will attend first to eighth grade dasses.
