Turbidiry levels in associated wedands and streams;hall not esceed the standards in W AC 173-
201A.
• Any excavation materials must be placed in an upland arw during construction. Vedand soils must be in
separate piles from upind soils. Pollowing construction, they
should bc repaced in the wedand area.
• Revegetation: At a minimum, erosion control reegetation is rcquired in all cleared areas and should
inclue herbaccous ground cover that does not interCerevith establishmen[of native vegetation. If long-
term revegetation is required, it should be acwmplished during the next most favorable time of year for the
particular vegetution to ensure the hihes! level of scccess. (Note: If roeegetation daes not ocwr
inunediatcly followin_recontourin:of the site, adequate erosiun cm:trol measures must be taken.) Native
species compatible with preconstruction vegetation pattems shall be used for revegetation. Degnded
emergent sites, such as Reed canary grass tields, shall be replanred with species tha[are rep:esentatie of a
higher yu;dity cmcrgent, scnib-shrub or forestedetland.
