The ccsign of the fence must be split rail,or an
alcernative epproved by the Planning Depanment prior to issum:ce of pemiits. The use of native plants can also improve water qualipby minimizing the use of
fertilizers, herbicides, mid pesrcides. N'ater use efticiency is another advantage of landscaping with native
plants. Reduced irrieation means redaced likelihood of erosion, silttion, and landsliding resulting From the
development, rcduced impacu m local hydrology, reduced maintenance costs, and enhanced water availability
for otlicr consumptivc uses.
All plantings in environmentally sensitive areas and dieir buffzrs and in transition areas in SW Everett shall be
native specics and hbrid natives, includine landscaping required by Chapter 35 of the Zoning Code(perimeter
landscaping, lundscaping of the parkinc lot, nd interior landscapine).
