FINDINGS AND DECISION <br /> OF THE HEARING EXAMINER PRO TEM OF , HE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION <br /> OF THE EVERETT SCHOOL QISTRICT <br /> FOR APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL <br /> PROP�RTY USE PERMIT AND <br /> LAIJDSCAPE STANDARD MODIFICATION SPU #09-006 <br /> "MONP,OE ELEMENTARY SCHOCL" <br /> DECISION: It is hereby ordered that the Applicant, Everett School <br /> District, shall receive a Special Property Use Permit <br /> includiny landscape standard modifications for the <br /> proposed remodel of existing James Monroe <br /> Elementary School at 10901 - 27th Avenue in Everett, <br /> Washington. The Special Property Use P�rmit shall <br /> authorize the demolition and replacement of the <br /> existirig school buildings and reconfigurGtion of site <br /> access and parking to increase on-site parking spaces <br /> from 62 to 11?. Approved landscape st2ndard <br /> modifications shall authorize retention of existing <br /> mature tree canopies instead of requiring replacement <br /> with shrubs and maintaining existing conditions <br /> adjacent to ihe playField at the northeast corner of the <br /> site. 7he Special Property Use Parmit and Landscape <br /> Slandard Modifications are granted subject to the <br /> conditions listed herein. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The Evereti School District (Applicant) requested a Special Prope�ty Use Permit <br /> including landscape standard modifications for the proposed remodel of existing James <br /> Monroe Elementary School at 10901 - 27th Avenue in Everett, Washington.
