Pumped sumps could consist of excavated sumps
in.the excavation base with a submersible pump or trash pump
intake. If desired, the sumps could be filled with washed rock
and a section of perforated pipe to house the submersible pump
or trash pump intake. The sumps should be operated as needed
to control ground water, and then should be abandoned and
backfilled when they are no longer needed.
Provisions should be made for discharging dewatering, if it is
generated. We anticipate that the dewatering water will be silty.
Possible disposal alternatives include using laterial spreaders to
discharge over undeveloped areas adjacent to the work area,
filtering through forest or ?grasa land, or other methods acceptable
to Snohomish County. No dewatering water shall be dispersed
Into a critical area.
Asak, It li
