PROJECT NO IES <br />' 1. All work and materials shall be in accordance with current City of <br />Everett Standards. Washington State Department of Transportation <br />1998 / American Public Works Association Standard Specifications. <br />�. No part -of the sanitary sewer system shell be covered, concealed or put <br />into use until it has Dean tested, inspected, and approved by the city <br />inspector. <br />3. Approximate locations of existing utlilties have been obtained from <br />available records end are shown for convenience. The contractor <br />shall be responsible for verification of locations and to avoid damage <br />to any additional utlllties not shown. if conflicts with existin, utilities <br />arise during construction, the contractor shall notify the public works <br />inspector and any changes required shall be approved by the city <br />engineer prior to commencement of related construction on the project. <br />4. All sewer main extentions within the public rilhtrof-way or easements <br />must be staked by survey for line and grade prior to starting construction. <br />5. All work pertaining to this project shall be subject to the inspection <br />of the city inspector or hie deslynoted represen ative. Prior,o any site <br />work. the contractor shell contact the City chief inspector at <br />425-339-7403 to schedule a preconstruction conference. <br />6. Before performing any grading or clearing, the limits of all proposed <br />clearing and Grading . and drainage courses shall be marked in the field <br />and verified ly the inspector <br />((j] JHJ). Engineered As-builts shall be required prior to final approval of the <br />sanitary sewer system. <br />6. It shall he the contractor's responsibility to apply for and obtain <br />grading permits required for any non -approved dump sites; <br />J <br />7. This project shows no work in county right-of-way, however, a <br />Right -of -Nay Permit is required for all work in county right-of-way. <br />S. The owner and contractor shall be responsible for locating and protecting <br />all existingy utilities shown on construction plane that are based on best <br />records aye leble and are sub act to variation. The contractor shall notify Land Technologies, Inc. and the City <br />Inspector prior to construction when conflicts between the plane <br />and field conditions exist. Said conflicts shall be resolved prior to <br />proceeding with construction. <br />IO.The contractor shall keep two sets of plans on site at all times for <br />recording as -built information; one set shall be submitted to Land <br />Technologies, Inc. at completion of construction and prior to final <br />acceptance of work.
