CHECKLIST <br />The Snohomish County Shoreline Master Program and the Everett Shoreline Master Program both <br />designate the site as Urban. <br />h. Has any part of the site been classified as an "environmentally sensitive" area? If so, <br />specify. <br />As noted above, the site area is mapped as lying within the 100-year floodplain, although <br />the dike surrounding the landfill exceeds the 100-year flood elevation and therefore <br />removes the landfill from the 100-year floodplain. The City of Everett has designated Smith <br />Isiand, including the project site, as part of the "Snohomish Estuary Wetlands Integration <br />Program" (SEWIP). In addition, both the City and the County define the entire estuary <br />(including the site) as being within shoreline jurisdiction. <br />i. Approximately how many people would reside or work in the completed project? <br />No employees would be present on the site on a daily basis. Weyerhaeuser employees and <br />contractors will visit the site on a periodic basis to conduct groundwater monitoring and <br />maintenance activities. <br />j.
