These comments address building issues only, additionat <br />revisions or addidons may be required by other departments (such as U6li6es, Planning <br />`' or Fire). All references refer to the 1991 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the <br />� State of Washington and /or Washington State Energy Code 1994, lst Edition, unless <br />; stated otherwise. <br />1. Provide basement/foundation plan showing how all loads from addition are <br />supported, <br />2. Show min. header size on all openings in basement exterior walls. <br />3. Show header sizes on all openings at existing main floor. <br />4. Winding stairs may be used if the required width of run is provided at a point <br />not more than 12" from the side of the stairs where the treads are nazrower, but <br />in no case shall any width of run be less than 6" at any point. <br />5. Provide second floor framing plan. <br />6. Provide roof framing plan. <br />7. Clarify bearing locations shown on "section B". Provide solid blocking under <br />bearing walls. The section shows this portion of roof as being sdck framed, call <br />out rafter sizes, species and gcade. <br />8.
