SECTION 01410 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS <br />e.) Washington Solid Waste Management Law: Establishes uniform State-wide <br />program for handling solid wastes, which will prevent land, air and water pollution. <br />f.) Washington Hazardous Waste Disposal Law: Establishes a statewide program <br />for the regulation of the disposal of hazardous waste. <br />g.) State Noise Control Act: Authorizes the Department of Ecology to establish <br />maximum noise levels in order to protect against adverse effect of noise in the <br />health, safety and welfare. <br />h.) Model Toxics Control Act: State "Superfund" Law that establishes how cleanups <br />of hazardous v.aste will be managed and sets standards for performing cleanups. <br />2. Regulations and Guidelines <br />a.) Department of Ecology Guidelines for the Implementation of the State <br />Environmental Protection Agency: State guidelines for the implementation of the <br />State Environmental Policy Act. <br />b.) Department of Ecology Shoreline Development Permit Regulations: State <br />guidelines for the issuance of shoreline permits. <br />c.) Air Pollution Regulations on Record Keeping: Requires operators of stationary <br />sources of air contaminants to maintain records of emissions and submit periodic <br />reports. <br />d.) Department of Ecology Regulations Relating to Minimum Functional Standards for <br />Solid Waste Handling: Regulations promulgated pursuant to the State Solid <br />Waste Act. <br />e.) Department of Ecology Regulations for Waste Discharge Permits: Establishes <br />standards and procedures for obtaining permits to discharge pollutants in <br />navigable waters pursuant to the federal and state Clean Water Acts. <br />f.) Department of Ecology Regulations on Dangerous Was! Regulations <br />promulgates pursuant to the state hazardous waste disposal statute. <br />g.) Department of Ecology Regulations Relating to Noise: Regulations establishing <br />noise levels and noise performance standards for certain activities. <br />h.) Department of Ecology Model Toxics Control Act Cleanup Regulation: <br />Establishing rules for reporting, listing, investigation and cleanup of hazardous <br />waste sites. <br />D.
