SECTION 01500 <br />TEMPORARY FACILITIES AND CONTROLS <br />1.14 REMOVAL OF CONSTRUCTION FACILITIES AND TEMPORARY CONTROLS <br />A. Remove temporary utilities, eq�,:ipment, facilities, and materials at Physical Completion or as <br />directed by the Resident Engineer. <br />B. Clean and repair damage caused by installation or use of temporary work. <br />1.15 USE AND OCCUPANCY <br />A. Materials Storage, Staging and Parking <br />1. The Contractor may store materials within the project limits as indicated on the <br />Drawings. The Owner will not provide secured, protected, covered storage space for <br />the Contractor's use. <br />2. Contractor shall arrange and provide for iployee parking during construction. The <br />Owner will not provide parking for the Confr- tor's employees. <br />1.16 NOISE CONTROLS <br />A. At all times keep objectionable noise generation to a minimum by: <br />1. Equipping air compressors with silencing packages. <br />2. Equipping jackhammers with silencers on the air outlet. <br />3. Equipment that can be electrically driven instead of gas or diesel is preferred <br />4. All construction vehicles and equipment on the project operating between 10:00 p.m. <br />and 7:00 a.m. shall be equipped with an ambient noise sensing variable volume backup <br />alarm system. The system shall be in compliance with Washington Administrative <br />Code (WAC) 296-155-615. <br />B. The Contractor's operation shall at all times comply with all applicable State, County, and <br />City requirements. <br />1.17 FIELD OFFICES <br />A. Contractor's Field Office <br />1. The Contractor shall furnish, install, and maintain a field office on or adjacent to the <br />Work site for its field staff. The Contractor's field office shall include a conference <br />room, which can accommodate regular construction meetings. At a minimum, the <br />conference room shall provide sufficient space for ten (10) persons not including the <br />Contractor's and subcontractor's personnel. <br />B. Permits <br />1.
