SECTION 01563 <br />SOIL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL <br />PART 1 — GENERAL <br />1.G1 SUMMARY <br />A. This Section includes specifications tot the prevention of erosion of excavated areas, <br />embankments, stockpiled earth materials, and other erodible areas, and the control of runoff <br />to reduce sediment and pollution of the drainage systems. <br />B. The temporary pollution control or erosion protection provisions contained herein shall be <br />coordinated with +he permanent erosion control features specified elsewhere in the Contract <br />to the extent practical to assure economical, effective and continuous erosion control <br />throughout the construct; -i and post construction period. <br />C. All soil erosion and sediment control facilities shall be in place prior to any earthwork <br />operation and installation of proposed structures or utilities. <br />D. Comply with applicable Federal, State and local laws, orders, and regulations concerning <br />the prevention, control, and abatement of water pollution; and erosion and sediment control. <br />1.02 DEFINITIONS <br />Not Used <br />1.03 RELATED WORK <br />A.
